- Last week's TF2 Survey results
- And now, videos:
This is actually on time. Hallelujah. I'll try to do these updates with bullet points, so... Bullets.
that's pretty much it for the last two weeks, thanks for reading! ~Zec
Here are a the results from the first 100 people to take the survey, you can click on any of them for a larger image.
I also made a video about this, but beware, the audio is terrible, and I talk in a monotone voice the whole time, so it would be easier to edit and make "less shitty later". If that doesn't make sense to you then:
Anyway, here's the video.
I couldn't find a place to write a bit about this survey in the tool I used to make it, so I embedded it here. I asked r/tf2 what their favorite class-specific weapons are, took the most popular responses and made it into a survey. Also 2 more things:
So... this is late. F*ck the po-po, Anyway, here's a video. I spent a sh*t ton of time on this, so you best be enjoying dis.
Also here's a rant about pokemon mega-evolutions:
And, some recent posts: My chespin and goomy wallpapers, and my written version of my mega-evolution rant, there are some screenshots below, which give you a small preview of the post and such.
I made two versions of the Goomy one: mouth open and mouth closed. Also there's Chespin. You know how to download them. Enjoy, ~Zec
DISCLAIMER: This is my opinion, if you disagree you can comment... in the comments, or some shit.
Mega Evolutions are great and all, but I feel like Game Freak could have a done a better job at the Pokemon it chose to give Mega Evolutions. What I mean by this is that if you look at all the current Pokemon with Mega Evolutions, you'll notice that many of them, (not all, but many. There's a difference) have one thing in common; They are Pokemon with 2 previous evolutions (also known as a 3 Pokemon evolution line, also some strong Pokemon such as Lucario (or however you spell it) are included in this). They are all pretty strong as it is without being mega evolved. For example, Garchomp has a pretty strong base stat at 600, but with it's mega-evolution it goes up to an outrageous 700, equivalent to Black and White Kyurem. It doesn't need a Mega Evolution, sine its stats are already higher than most Pokemon.
Or: Alakazam, Tyrantiar and Aggron. Their Mega Evolutions make them even more powerful than they previously were, hiking up their already strongest stats. But, they were already more powerful and stronger than most other Pokemon. Game Freak should have given Pokemon that are weaker, don't evolve, or have one Pokemon in their evolution line. Mega Evolutions, in my opinion, did give a few Pokemon Mega Evolutions that needed it. Such as Mawile and Kangaskhan, since they previously weren't used much in battle. Now, with their Mega Evolutions, they're used a lot more often. Mega Evolutions should be given to Pokemon that aren't used much in battle, not overpowered pokemon that everyone already uses.
Other Pokemon that could be given Mega Evolutions (IMO): Stantler, Golduck, Mantine, Hariyama, Chimecho, Floatzel, (and others I may get to at a different time). These guys' Mega Evolutions could look pretty cool, bring them into a few more battles, but still keep their original familiar design by only altering a few things, as Mega Evolutions do now. Overall, I think Game-Freak adding Mega Evolutions was a great idea, just giving Mega Evolutions to already strong Pokemon is not.
